Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Prime Sports website, reservation platform, facilities, programs, services, or events (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”).

If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not access or use our Services.

Accounts and reservations must be created by individuals who are at least 18 years of age or by a parent or legal guardian acting on behalf of a minor. By creating an account or making a reservation, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

2. About Prime Sports

Prime Sports is an indoor sports and recreation facility located in Malabe, Sri Lanka, offering indoor cricket, pickleball, coaching programs, leagues, tournaments, events, and related services.

3. Account Registration

To access certain services, reservations, or programs, you may be required to create an account.

You agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
Maintain and promptly update your account information.
Keep your login credentials secure and confidential.
Notify Prime Sports immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
Accept responsibility for all activities conducted through your account.

Prime Sports reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts containing false information or accounts used in violation of these Terms.

4. Reservations and Booking Policy

4.1. Reservation Confirmation

Reservations are subject to availability and are not confirmed until payment has been successfully received and confirmation has been issued.

4.2. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Reservations are generally considered final once confirmed.

Refunds, credits, transfers, or rescheduling requests may be granted solely at the discretion of Prime Sports and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Circumstances including personal scheduling conflicts, illness, travel disruptions, weather conditions, or failure to attend do not automatically qualify for refunds or credits.

4.3. No-Show Policy

Failure to attend a reservation, program, event, or booking without prior approval from Prime Sports may result in forfeiture of the reservation fee and may affect future booking privileges.

4.4. Group Reservations

The person making a group reservation is responsible for ensuring that all participants understand and comply with these Terms and any applicable facility rules.

Prime Sports may require participants to complete waivers, registrations, or payments before participation is permitted.

4.5. Time Limits

Reservations include only the specific time period booked. Warm-up, setup, play, and cleanup activities must be completed within the reserved time unless otherwise approved by Prime Sports staff.

5. Payments

Payment must be made using the payment methods approved by Prime Sports.

Prime Sports reserves the right to accept online payments, bank transfers, cash payments, payment links, or other approved payment methods.

All fees, charges, taxes, and applicable costs associated with a reservation must be paid in full before participation unless alternative arrangements have been approved.

Prime Sports reserves the right to modify pricing, fees, promotions, or membership rates at any time.

6. Facility Rules and Conduct

All users, participants, guests, spectators, and visitors agree to:

Follow all posted rules and staff instructions.
Use facilities and equipment responsibly and safely.
Treat staff, participants, and visitors with respect.
Refrain from abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or disruptive behavior.
Avoid bringing illegal substances, weapons, or prohibited items onto the premises.
Wear appropriate sports attire and footwear where required.
Leave courts, playing areas, and common spaces in good condition.

Prime Sports reserves the right to deny entry, remove individuals from the premises, or suspend future access for violations of these Terms or facility policies.

No refunds will be provided in such circumstances.

7. Participation and Assumption of Risk

Participation in sports and recreational activities involves inherent risks, including the risk of injury, illness, property damage, or other unforeseen incidents.

By entering, observing, or participating in activities at Prime Sports, visitors and participants acknowledge and accept these risks and agree to exercise reasonable care for their own safety and the safety of others.

Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising minors under their care and ensuring that such minors are physically capable of participating in the activities they undertake.

Prime Sports reserves the right to refuse participation to any individual whose conduct, health condition, or actions may pose a risk to themselves, other participants, staff, or facility operations.

8. Assumption of Risk and Limitation of Liability

Participation in all activities at Prime Sports is voluntary and undertaken at your own risk.

You acknowledge and accept all risks associated with sports, physical activity, equipment use, facility usage, and participation in events, including the risk of personal injury, illness, disability, property damage, or death.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Prime Sports, its owners, directors, employees, contractors, coaches, affiliates, and representatives shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the facility or participation in activities.

Where liability cannot legally be excluded, Prime Sports’ liability shall be limited to the amount paid by you for the specific booking or service giving rise to the claim.

9. Equipment Use and Rentals

Equipment provided by Prime Sports must be used only for its intended purpose.

Users are responsible for any loss, theft, misuse, or damage caused to equipment during their booking or participation.

Prime Sports reserves the right to recover repair or replacement costs where appropriate.

10. Personal Property

Prime Sports is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings, sports equipment, vehicles, or other property brought onto the premises.

Visitors are encouraged to keep valuables secure at all times.

11. Health and Medical Responsibility

By participating in activities at Prime Sports, you confirm that you are physically capable of participating safely.

You are responsible for seeking professional medical advice regarding any medical conditions, injuries, or health concerns before participating in sports or physical activities.

12. Intellectual Property

All content displayed on the Prime Sports website, reservation platform, social media channels, and promotional materials, including logos, branding, text, graphics, photographs, videos, and software, remains the property of Prime Sports unless otherwise stated.

No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified, or used without prior written permission.

13. Facility Closures, Emergencies, and Force Majeure

Prime Sports reserves the right to cancel, postpone, suspend, or reschedule bookings due to:

Facility maintenance
Safety concerns
Utility interruptions
Natural disasters
Government actions
Public health emergencies
Security incidents
Events beyond our reasonable control

In such situations, Prime Sports may offer a credit, rescheduling option, or refund at its discretion.

14. Photography and Media

Photographs, videos, and other media may be captured during activities, programs, leagues, tournaments, events, and facility operations.

Such media may be used for:

Marketing and advertising
Social media content
Website content
Promotional materials
Event coverage

Individuals who do not wish to appear in promotional content should notify Prime Sports staff. Reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate such requests; however, exclusion from incidental or background appearances cannot be guaranteed.

15. Video Surveillance

For safety, security, incident investigation, operational management, and loss prevention purposes, Prime Sports may utilize video surveillance systems throughout the facility and surrounding premises.

By entering the facility, you acknowledge and consent to such monitoring where permitted by law.

16. Account Suspension and Termination

Prime Sports reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts, reservations, memberships, or facility access at any time if a user violates these Terms, facility rules, or engages in conduct that may negatively impact the safety, operations, reputation, or experience of others.

Termination does not entitle the user to a refund unless required by applicable law.

17. Changes to Services and Terms

Prime Sports may modify, suspend, discontinue, or update any aspect of its Services, pricing, policies, programs, facilities, or these Terms at any time.

Updated Terms will become effective upon publication and continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

18. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or the use of Prime Sports facilities shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Sri Lanka.
